Route 34

1942 PCC 2658 westbound on Baltimore Avenue near 48th Street
In May of 2015, former SEPTA trolley motorman Bud Breslin recalled the fate of this trolley car: "2658 was a good car, it ran well. I was working the last late on 34, which finished at 1:19 a.m., with this car. At some point later in the evening one of the bolsters gave out and the car listed to one side. I called radio (using a pay phone: DA9-9408, then let it ring 25 or more times) and was told to take the car out of service, to the depot. 2658 was scrapped not long after."
