SEPTA Vandalizes Route 23 Trolley


SEPTA Vandalism at 12th & Susquehanna

Recently a skim coat of blacktop has been placed over the Route 23 rails on Susquehanna Avenue between 10th and 12th Streets, near the Temple University campus. Route 23 trolleys came eastbound on Susquehanna Avenue here (toward the camera), and turned south (right side of photo) on 12th. Overhead wire is still in place at this location, but nearly half a mile of trolley wire and span wires have been removed on Germantown Avenue between Sedgley Avenue and Somerset Street.
